Project of the house for intellectually disabled people located in Sopot, Poland. Coauthors: Zofia Zajdzinska, Monika Wróblewska.
This house is the place to live and work for 14 disabled people with slight and medium intellectual disabilities the ones that are not healthy enough to live by themselves but at the same time can at least partially work for their living. The project is supposed to be a bridge between them and the society. To achieve that, it includes a small cafe run by the inhabitants and a workshop, where they can make handcrafted products. Also the an open park nearby is designed to elicit some interaction.
