Current health care system (india) relies on the assumption that patients can understand complex written and spoken information. Patients are expected to understand complex medical information and then manage their care at home. Medical Literacy is also observed for higher life expectancy and lower child mortality rate; thus prove to be important factors of health.
This project is focused on challenges faced due to Local languages , illiteracy , and dependency on a helper for self medication at home .
In this project I explored ways of bringing in a numeric code for identifying medicines and visual representation to help understand how a presctibed medicin to be used.
Also addressed implimentation in a hospital environment with the help of a digital aid.
