The Alpine Collection was designed to offer alpine climbers lightweight equipment without compromising comfort. The collection consists of a 3-buckle harness with 3D-Vent technology, the lightest quickdraw on the market, a chalk bag and a backpack.
The harness was the first product to be developed and determined the design concept and language of the subsequent collection.
A key element of this design concept was to display, rather than hide the functional components of the products. The harness, with its striking visuals, differentiated it from other climbing harnesses on the market, making both the product and brand instantly recognisable.
The colour icemint was introduced by Edelrid as part of their 150 year anniversary and was a new addition to the colour palette.
