Kinetic Fashion Show - The brief for this project was to create a brochure for the Kinetic fashion show. My concept is a brochure with an interesting fold that aids with its distribution. My design can be utilised as a dog-ear corner and attached to the cover of a (fashion) magazine. I molded my design to reflect the fold and create a bit of mystery. The result is a brochure that engages the recipient with an understated graphic design to complement.
Kinetic Fashion Show - Following from the previous page, these are the digital files for the Kinetic brochure. This shows how the design is split on paper and how the intricate fold brings it together. I felt a simple design would better suit the complicated fold.
Sydney Dance Company - In this brief, Sydney Dance Company wanted to promote their upcoming events with a brochure (two colour job). I created a six page brochure with simple graphic elements and powerful images to evoke movement and to mirror the strong shapes performed by the dancers. The result is a clean and effective brochure, with information flowing consistently throughout and with bursts of yellow which complement the images and draw the eye.
air 100.5 FM - In this brief, a new talk radio station called Air FM required a visual identity. My concept for the logo was to create a modern piece of typography and bring in a simple graphic element to represent the idea of discussion and debate. The speech bubble evolved from my sketches and with two in the logo, it presents the idea of a conversation. The resulting logo is simple and modern and the speech bubble graphic is applied across the brand; for which I designed an advertising campaign.
air 100.5 FM - Continuing this brief, the air FM brand needed to be carried across other marketing materials. I created a brochure for potential advertisers (shown), business letterhead, business cards and comp slips.
BFI Film Festival - The client wanted a poster/brochure to promote a science fiction film festival. I used the film projector imagery to evoke the stereotypical notion of a sci-film of a UFO descending onto earth. The concept is playful and the high contrast of colour helps the title stand out. The poster works well on the cover side as one striking image and the body copy is formatted with great detail on the other to give it a brochure look and feel.
Slaughterhouse-Five - For this brief, I was to design a new book cover for Slaughterhouse V by Kurt Vonnegut. My concept was to take the common imagery of slaughterhouses and relate it to the book's content of war. The guns hanging from the rafters resemble slaughtered pigs and remind us of the realities of war. I created handmade illustrations to bring the concept together, layering the pieces in Photoshop.

Pfizer - For this brief, I was to design an annual report for Pfizer. The theme is taken from my cover concept of a prescription bottle with the yellow underline creating a strong visual hierarchy throughout. I carried the cover concept throughout the spreads, creating a vibrant and modern look. The spreads stand out and connect well with the cover. There's colour highlighted throughout, but enough white space to make it easy to read.
Hocus Pocus - Hocus Pocus is a magic shop that needed branding. The brand imagery revolved around the logo, which is fun and playful, but also mysterious, with the word "Pocus" appearing from the smoke. The abstract lines depicting the smoke created a nice graphic element to carry through the brand - including shopping bags, letterhead and business cards.

A&K - Morocco - For this brief I was to create a 12-page brochure to entice travellers to Morocco. The images provided emphasised colour and culture and my concept was to contain all the colour within the brochure, die cutting "Morocco" in the front cover to entice people in. I complemented each image with a block of colour to give a nice contrast with the text. The brochure flows like a journey in of itself - sparking people's imaginations as to what they might encounter.
Convivo - Convivo is a new restaurant which required a logo and marketing brochure to promote its menu. The restaurant serves italian so I picked colours that reflect the depth and warmth of the food. The logo is contemporary to represent the modern take on the cooking and trendy neighbourhood it is located in.
London Transport Museum - The brief's objective was to create a marketing (d-roll) brochure for the London Transport Museum that would appeal to a younger audience. Because it would be placed amongst a sea of brochures, I wanted to create a striking cover. To achieve this I used bold, contrasting colours. I maintained this colour palette throughout whilst being careful to ensure legibility. The resulting look is funky and modern, which will attract a younger crowd.
MCA Hire Venues - For this brief, the client wanted to promote their hire venues through information cards. It was a brief that required a quick turnaround and consistency across the three cards. Using the floor plans of the venues, I created a graphic element amongst the typography to stand out on a leaflet rack. The resulting cards are clean, vibrant and would appeal to marketing types.
