I have to admit it that the SKA is one of my favourite music genre, full of rhythm and life, but I'll never thought that it was so deeply connected with the Jamaican reggae! When I found it out? Simple! Some time ago a contest held by International Reggae Poster Contest caught my attention. They asked to represent the reggae music and its derivatives, and I made some research about it and all the ramifications. I found that not only the rocksteady, but even the dub music and the ska derived from the reggae. I couldn't resist and I made this poster that, from my point of view, represent the soul of the ska music. Luckily enough, it looks like my tribute was appreciated and I'm one of the winners (take a look here)!
