Unreal Engine: YME Field
The abandoned Repsol's YME oil field in Norway planned to be reactivated on 2019.
Since the platform above wells had been dismantled, the mobile jackup rig Maersk Inspirer will act as production facility for the wells.
Desktop application then developed in Unreal Engine to manage the logistic operation between Maersk Inspirer and vessel.
The application will have view and control from the rig crane.
The 3D models of the wells and rig was created by team of modelers ground up from scratch, supplied with drawings and photos as reference.
It has correct size and measurement.
It also optimized (optimal polygon number) for performance.
