Logo Design — UCAN Club

Logo design for local non-profit initiative to help teach those in homeless shelters and centers how to cook for themselves once they are out and established on their own. The classes focus on utilizing a full spectrum of food that are available through community partnerships, farmers markets, and food pantries. The color palette was chosen to reflect the variety of foods, fruits, and vegetables being used. The shape was chose to be a circle to represent a plate of food, the large blue dot to be the person learning to cook, and the colors and shapes below to represent the different sizes and colors of foods. The bottom shape also represent people coming together as one to learn. This is an on-going project that will include flyers and posters for each class, as well as a website to provide information and a place to view upcoming classes and download learning materials.
