In ear headphones are small and convenient, but nothing expresses the idea of music like a pair of ‘over-the-head style’ headphones. The problem is that most people think that these large headphones are too big and clumsy-looking to wear on the street.
I wanted to design a pair of portable headphones to allow people to express their love of music without compromising their style.
The size adjustment is done by a simple rubber o-ring inside the speaker housing that locates in a choice of dimples to adjust the effective length of the head band by up to 30mm.
