DEW DROPS
The Dew Drops series by Ingo Maurer is an exciting usage and study of new technology in the application of LEDs. Each sheet consists of several hundred LEDs while remaining flexible. The project brief was to create a family of products incorporating the sheets in an interesting way. Working closely with Ingo we developed both a wall and table lamp using the same LED sheet.
I played a pivotal role in the products although was much more involved in the design of the table version. The concept for the table version is that the user may easily open, close, and rotate the sheet in order to direct light where desired.
