Marble typically has a surface temperature that is 7 degrees cooler than room temperature. This makes it an ideal surface for cheese, sushi or other antipasti that are best served chilled. The marble is sealed to resist staining, but as with all marble, it is not recommended to cut citrus fruit or other acidic items as the acid will cause etch marks on the stone. Palate is 100% made in the USA.
