Freelanced proposals for a light up musical play-set. Play-set needed to have space for mermaid doll play, pegs to seat mini sea pets on and slides and tunnels for rolling magic pearls.
Vtech Catch n' Count Fishing - I am a huge supporter of learning through doing and like to create hands-on experiences with my educational toys. The hook used magnet sensors to identify the color, number and species of the silly character the child had caught. Once hooked the rod would vibrate until the child reeled the fish in.
Vtech Cody Carpenter's Light n' Learn Bench - Updating a classic for the Electronic Age.
Vtech Old McDonald's Alphabet Hayride- Figure/ Vehicle play coupled with Learning fun. Tractor flashes lights and plays songs when rolling. Wagon identifies characters, letters and letter sounds.
Sort 'n Soar Rocket - This is one of my favorites. I set out to create a shape sorter that would encourage the child to sort again and again. Once all 5 shapes have been inserted, the rocket counts down and BLASTS OFF! spilling them all out again.
Discovery Tree - Traditional ball drop play with lots or SFX and songs triggered by various sensors as the animal ball descends.
Guess 'n Match Carrot Patch - I think I sold this farm themed electronic memory game to the Big Wigs with the catchy name alone. Children could search for animals by sound or color or match Mamas to babies.
Alphabert and Sprocket's Sonic Phonics - VTech's Reading FUNdamental team called me away from my preschool duties to help refresh their popular Alphabert laptop. I came up with Sprocket. This motorized mini-bot added some fun and verbal interplay to the toy and gave them another character to expand their brand.
