This project arose from a need of a client to place a television set on a terrace where the rain and the sun would be present day by day. The result of this project was a object which provides an ornament when is unused while providing easy usability and aesthetics. Using the Ghiri parametric technique, a definition was designed that could provide these characteristics. Using 3D modeling techniques and basic algorithms for conceptualisation, Oak and American pine were subjected to manufacturing processes such as CNC and laser cutting to be covered with a layer of water protection varnish. This is an example where new and old design techniques are merged to create something beautiful and unique.
