SENSO SESTO 2nd prize MINI DESIGN AWARD 2007

SENSO SESTO - Sixth Sense wants to better stimulate drivers’ hearing and touch, because sight
is certainly the sense most used for moving about town. Using the Braille
system and sound stripes, the author designed a horizontal signage system to
offer numerous ways to sound code road signs.
“Even if sight is fundamental for traveling in the city,” explained Andrea Sanna,
born in Turin in 1972 and an Industrial Design graduate from the European
Design Institute of Turin, “we don’t realize that more valuable sensations often
arrive from other receptors.”
