Project based on the artist Arcimboldo, for this project what we did was take a photo of ourselves and cover it with fruit, so that we would have a self portrait made of fruit. In photoshop I used multiple tools to copy fruit onto the photograph The steps I did to complete this project was first, I started on my hair since it would be one of the more complicated parts of the piece. Second I added the shape of my face. Next came the background, which I used cherries for. Then came my shirt and neck and chest. The last thing that I did was the different parts of my face which includes my eyes, nose, eyebrows and lips. The most challenging part was doing the hair and the eyebrows. If I could go back I would’ve done the eyebrows differently. I redid them multiple times but no matter how many times I changed or edited them I wasn’t happy with them. Perhaps I could’ve gone with a different approach. Overall, I’m quite happy with the way my self portrait turned out.
