This icon is the lone exception of the group, as it was commissioned by the Art Director of Stoic for use as the Windows icon for their game engine, named "Yggdrasil." Yggdrasil is a giant ash tree from Norse mythology that supposedly supported the nine worlds, and whose three roots drank from mythic wells. The roots also serve to symbolize the three founding members of the studio.

Icons for "The Banner Saga" video game
These illustrations were designed in 2013-2014 for players of "The Banner Saga" video game by Stoic Studio. These icons are for use identifying the player in-game as his or her personal "crest". Each of these was a commission by an individual player, largely to fit his or her concept or rough idea. They were created from my own sketches, which I then translated into the black-and-white art (required for input to the game) using Adobe Illustrator.
