Aloha Hawaii
Aloha Hawaii was an installation at a New Year’s Eve party in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The event's theme was based on the glamor, excitement and joy of air travel during the 1960’s. My partner and I responded to call for art proposing a “destination installation”; one that lets visitors enjoy the fruits of a foreign locale. Aloha Hawaii was our interpretation of a relaxing, tropical paradise with Pop and sixties design inspirations. Our 20’x20’ space consisted of themed seating, glowing décor, and a portrait photography booth for guests to enjoy.
