I designed a personal and sustainable shoe by creating a new service, which allows the customers to customize and see the production of the shoe. By creating a user experience for the store, I will create an emotional connection for the customer. The purpose of this project was to promote my design abilities as well as my social and resource awareness. Footwear is a necessity. By creating a more personal connection between the customer and the shoe, I will be creating a more sustainable product striving for longevity. Waste of resources is a problem right now, as is the lack of knowledge where the product is being produced. Since shoes are indispensable, and there are so many unsustainable materials, I wanted to create a change informing the customer what resources are used and who are the people bringing them the product.
