During a one-year contract position at Hasbro, as a packaging designer for My Little Pony, I had the pleasure of working on a great myriad of projects in conjunction with the branding and structure departments.

Amazon exclusive Twilight Sparkle as Starswirl the Bearded book packaging. This one was SO much fun to design. I modeled the packaging after Starswirl the Bearded's journal and added in a lot of his drawings from said journal along with images from entertainment of Twilight dressing up as her magical hero.

I tried to make it look worn and old, but still vibrant.

There's a faux bookmark and a removable poster from the Starswirl the Bearded Traveling Museum attended by Twilight and Princess Cadence in Three's a Crowd. "Photos" and a snippet of Starswirl's Ponehenge drawing are graphically taped onto the endsheets..

I illustrated the hand-lettering on the spine and tried to imitate an embossed leather cover with highlights and shadows. All of the art was created in Illustrator to maintain the crisp linework and workability.
