manual wheelchair design - The design was an attempt in identifying the inherent design flaws of an existing manual wheelchair.
the same was studied on three parameters namely:
structure of the wheelchair
ergonomics of the wheelchair
commuting related problems of the wheelchair
apart from a all pipe bended structure the wheelchair has a rowing mechanism to power and to stear it. it has been designed keeping in mind the working constraints in an office context and over a desk it looks just like an ordinary chair.
it has the provision to be upgraded to an electric wheelchair.
the design is in the process of being patented.
wind powered mobile charger - The designed mobile charger caters to almost all mobiles and needs only a relative wind speed of 25 km/hr.
It has been made from scrap and is cheaper than conventional mobile chargers.
The design has been covered by French print media as well as indian channels
bike styling - The xus 100 was built on a YAMAHA RX-100
Platform. The engine and it’s mounting were
Retained. The chassis was redesigned and after the initial concept generation the body parts
were hand crafted. This included making PUfoam. Mockups and then extracting the FRP parts. The bike was designed for the teanagers.
The bike has been tested for stability and is fully functional
