iVillage Newsletters - My responsibilities as an assistant to the Email Coordinator was to help produce marketing emails via HTML.
Understanding that email clients have a wide variety of rules, I understand email newsletter best practices, such as:
- using tables
- avoid using div and span elements
- avoiding the usage of special characters in the title of an email
iVillage UK Newsletters - As an Email Coordinator at iVillage for UK Operations, my duties for the emails is to provide assistance for content that is highly marketable. This means using Omniture analytics to research successful marketing tactics, such as reading click through rates and page v iews to understand our audience.
