Gamila Facemod - Having an in-house 3D printing machine presents many opportunities. Gamil looked at a way to make limited production pieces based on just-in-time manufacturing and highly-customizable pieces. The result was the Facemod - a candlestick holder based on the popular illusion of a profile. By having customers send in a JPG of their profile photo, a 3D file is generated of the rotated outline, making truly unique pieces. A second generation fuses two profiles as a perfect wedding gift.
