Ergo Iron
Diploma’s project, Ergo Iron is an ironing system designed with the contraints of the failures due to physical aging.
The ironing board is redesigned to be used sitting. With its verins, once folded it occupies the same space as a conventional table.
Coupled with a steam central, the iron is then lighter as it carries only steam. The use of this machine is simplified by the screen and the only two buttons to use.
The grip has been redesigned for people with osteoarthritis. The flexibility of the elastomeric blue part, allows with a slight pressing on the handle, the activation the steam.
More than a dedicated iron for older people, the Ergo Iron makes the ironing easier for all.
