Germantown Acapella Theater
Community theater for the Germantown area. The type of fine art was the designer's choice so I chose to create a theater for acapella groups as inspired by shows such as "Glee", "The Sing Off", and the film, "Pitch Perfect". The concept for this design was that fragmented or individual pieces would come together, respond to each other and create one unified whole, similar to the individual voices of acapella layering and working together to create one sound. The project deliverables consisted of 2D and 3D renderings, furniture, lighting and accessories selections/specifications and construction documents including demolition plan, wall sections, details and elevations.
