Bill of Materials - A bill of materials was created to enable a detailed costing to be completed. This allowed the ramp to be added to the MRP system.
Engineering Drawings - Engineering drawings were created for each individual part. This cut out any manufacturing ambiguity, a problem which had caused many quality problems.
Prototype - The new improved ramp was prototyped then tested with some changes made. The ramp is now in production.
