Unbuild: a deconstructable furniture piece - The design intent for this piece of furniture was to make an easily transportable, multifunctional, and personalized piece of furniture. The piece acts as a room screen that can be easily arranged and rearranged to meet one’s own personal taste. The colors chosen help reflect the industrial nature of the threaded rods used as the legs and pivot point of the piece. The edges are finished with polyurethane while the tops are painted to reinforce the linearity and movement of the piece.
