For my cap-stone project, I researched in-depth about sports in China.
Based on the growing trend of street sports growing, I noticed that participants were taking a lot of pictures to share and show off their activities. But taking pictures while working out often presents some issues (hard to set the camera on a tripod, someone has to stop practicing to take the picture...)
So I decided to create an autonomous, central product which can record the user so that they could share it after but also to create a synergy inside the group.
TOTEM is a camera with an integrated, foldable tripod that can be set up anywhere and take pictures/movies depending on different record modes.
