Flight Path
Through researching human centred problems I found that people travelling through airports wanted their journey to be less stressful from the moment they arrived at the airport.
Through research into the problem using passive observation, primary and secondary resources I found some insights and opportunities into this area.
After the research I had looked at improving safety, families and service design.
My final design was a text service, the traveller would interact with a interface inputting flight details and mobile details. This would alert them when their gate opens and from which gate their plane departed. This gives the traveller freedom whilst in the airport to shop, relax or eat without having to keep checking the screens.
If the user has a smart phone they are able to click on a link which will give them a map of the airport to and show them where the gate is if they are in a big airport.
