Carnelian Necklace - Carnelian was prized by the ancients for its high threshold for heat. Used for pressing into hot wax seals to make an official impression, the stone was carved into rings worn by nobility.
Mermaid Necklace - Flourite, Shell, Vintage Glass, Sterling. The woman who purchased this said it reminded her of a mermaid's jewelry.
Shimmer Necklace - Vintage Glass, Shell, Gold plated wiring, hand wired. This necklace took forever to make but the wiring makes it lie very delicately on the collarbones.
Chartreuse Necklace - Carnelian earrings, hand-wound glass, dyed wood, sterling. This necklace was inspired by my cousin's unique color combinations in her dress.
Serpentine Necklace - Russian Serpentine has a beautiful shattered turquoise quality. This necklace was auctioned off to benefit the charity The HeArt Project. This organization creates opportunities for art in underfunded public school systems.
Zebra Jasper Necklace - Zebra Jasper, Shell, Brass. This necklace was inspired by my friend's beautiful olive-mocha skin and strong profile.
Chrysocola - This is an amazing stone. There are milky and vibrant elements to it. The dark wood is solid and dense, contrasting the water element stones.
Agate Necklace - This simple necklace highlights the natural beauty of the agate's translucent banding.
Cowrie Shells and Jasper - These shells are hand-wired into pendants on a string of Jasper beads. This necklace was inspired by white sandy beaches drenched in sun.
Serpentine and New Jade - Larger stones are Serpentine, smaller stones are New Jade. Glass beads dipped in rosy copper metal are in between. Sterling clasps.
Blue Quartz - The cut of this blue quartz is very difficult to achieve and quite unusual.
