WALLFLOWER A mixed media drawing and painting in response to the Contemporary Arts Center exhibit Green Acres. The theme of environmental awareness and being eco-conscious is represented through the textile motif of a flower and the use of organic materials. The technique used to create the ower pattern involved fresh blackberries and pomegranates to form “ink” and the underlying color scheme. Colored pencils were used to enhance the natural beauty of the owers. This piece was on display at the CAC as a part of the MSJ Exhibition.
