EarthKAM iOS (iPhone) Application
EarthKAM is a NASA educational outreach program that enables students to learn about Earth from the unique perspective of space. During Sally Ride EarthKAM missions (periods when the Sally Ride EarthKAM camera is operational), middle school students around the world request images of specific locations on Earth. This iPhone application accesses the user's coordinates and shows them images for their location. In the scenario that there are no pictures for the user's coordinates, the application shows a satellite image of EarthKAM's offices in San Diego.
