Water ballon 1, 2013. I used the fast shutter speed in sport mode and the ISO was automatic. I applied a curve adjustment and cropped the image.
Water ballon 2, 2013. I used the fast shutter speed in sport mode and the ISO was automatic. I changed the inner glow of the photo to lighten to opacity and then I used the glowing edges filter to make everything black except for the objects.
Light Collage, 2013. I applied 7 different light drawings to create my collage. I applied color, transformations, and opacity changes to enhance my collage and make it cool and colorful. It doesn't blend that well, but it describes my personality that week because i was stressed out.
Ball of Light, 2013. I put my camera in fireworks mode. I applied the pattern overlay effect to give the ball of light a cool silver color to it. I also applied a vibrance layer to make the ball lighter and brighter and make the background blackish.

Shutter Speed

In this project we used the shutter speed effect on our cameras to take pictures of water balloons popping and pictures of light being drawn. Fast shutter speed is when the camera lens "blinks" really fast and takes multiple pictures in a very short period of time (water balloon popping). Slow shutter speed is when the camera lens stays open for a long time, allowing it to take one picture of multiple actions like the light drawings.
