project description - Greece's rich naval heritage and its wooden boat-building tradition (a dieing craft nowadays) were the basis for this project. The aim was to design a contemporary wooden vessel that would meet the conditions of the concurrent market and lifestyle context in order to revive the interest for wooden hand-made vessels.

design drivers - The outcome of the research prescribed the following "Design Drivers" to carry on to the design phase. These drivers were the "Baby Boomers" as a target market group and the "Elements of the no-name Greek architecture" as source for aesthetical and functional source sof inspration and practical solutions.
