Cave, Cave - Cave, Cave is inspired by the work of Northern Renaissance painter, Hieronymous Bosch and the ritual garments of the Roman Catholic Clergy. Bosch’s imagery of lush landscapes, vegetal forms, monsters, and various surfaces inspired the colors, textures, and prints in this collection. Many of the silhouettes, which range from voluminous to fitted, and embellishments such as lace, beading, and hardware, are inspired by ritual garments as seen in many contemporary films and television series.
