This is a paper prototype of the semester project I'm currently working on.
This project is about transferring personnel from boat to offshore wind turbines in a safe manner. My group has developed a sliding ladder system.

The chair has been made from scratch - from making the mold for pressing veneer sheets in to measuring and bending the legs.

The mold is made of hard foam, which is sanded to fit the contours of the seat.
The foam mold is boxed in and filled with plaster to create the second half of the mold. After the plaster has dried the veneer sheets with an outline of the seat are pressed in between the to parts of the mold.
