We import most things in the United States, so there is an abundance of cheap shipping containers that will never be used for shipping things; instead, they will continue to pile up in our ports until they are destroyed, or another use is found for them.

This concept is to make a house out of some used shipping containers. They would be inexpensive, form a sturdier structure than a standard wood frame, and they would not require the destruction of any forest area.
