FEA Structural Analysis of a Transmission Tower
This was a basic project to learn the use of Link - 2D Spar 1 (LINK 1) element for finding the axial stress in the truss elements of the transmission tower.
The cross sectional area of the steel truss member are 6.25e3 sq. meter and modulus of elasticity E = 200 GPA. The Loading was done on the top members at the extremities and the center with a vertically downwards force of 5000 N.
