The plan - Belur, being one of the richest in Hoysala Dynasty acrhitecture, is proposed to be marked as one of the heritage sites by UNESCO. The project brief specifies working with pre-selected distinguished old houses, to convert them partially or completely
into commercial ‘Homestay‘. The project involves restoration and reconstruction of the space. The challenge is to design the space and furniture, conserving the traditional ambiance.
