Herman Miller Desk. - I finally finished my desk; Its an Eames conference table base turned office desk. I polished the legs back to like-new, and increased the size of the spreader - allowing me to create a table top of 7' long, and 32" deep. The top itself is made of two layers of birch plywood laminated together to give it a nice solid thickness.

Vent Solution - Our new-to-us 1960's ranch home had one too many walls and after we removed one, we were left with cold air return vents in the floor. To create a transition from pegged hardwoods to carpet, I created this oak strip across the floor that houses two vintage grates purchased at an antiques salvage store in Indianapolis.

Sliding Door. - The previous owner of our house left us with no bathroom door after his bathroom renovation. With no room to swing in or out, and no wall put a pocket door in, I came up with this. The track came from a local farm supply company and the door from a construction supply store. It runs along the track at the top, and stays in place with a small hidden track below.

Vintage Roofrack Before. - Purchased at the Kruse Auction in this condition - no slats and peeling paint. Research showed that this was a roof rack made for sunroof model cars.
