For this project we viewed Romare Bearden, who was apart of the Harlem Renaissance and created many art work pieces of collages. 3 non destructive tools I used were: adjustment layers, groups, and layer masks. Adjustment layers in Photoshop are very useful, they are non-destructive image editing tools that add color and tonal adjustments to your image without permanently changing its pixels. When using groups you include images that are specially selected by yourself and hit makes you work more organized also so you dont get all messy. Layer masks are used so you can adjust your work non destructively. My favorite part of this project was trying to recreate my neighborhood.
