KUGL is a mobile lighting system that takes full advantage of the LED technology and questions the always-same shape of normal torches.
Basically it is a ball with a diameter of 4.5 cm (1.8 inches) that has a magnetic area on the bottom. The spherical shape of the lamp enables a lot of modular possibilities.
The lamps can be reloaded with an inductive docking station for two or four lamps.
KUGL is taken from "Kugel". The word "ball" in German.
