System Design (Function Apparel)
This was a live project conducted and sponsored by NID. It was aimed at understanding systems thinking and designing functional apparel for the given environment. The project was carried out in groups wherein each student designed garments for a particular staff member.
The uniforms (scrubs) were made for the hospital staff after a thorough research and understanding of their requirements and work. Each garment was designed keeping in mind the work the person has to carry out and other important details such as comfort, colour, fabric to be used, etc.
