The object of this project was to take a Food Network Star and create a new, fictional restaurant for them. I chose Guy Fieri, as he has a big personality. He loves to combine American and Japanese food, so I wanted to incorporate that into the design. Since he already has an "American" sushi bar, I decided to make an "American" Hibachi restaurant, but I also wanted to include more traditionally Japanese foods, since his real restaurant's menu was lacking. Due to his big personality, I decided to make in Las Vegas, so I based his logo off of Las Vegas motel signs. This was done completely in Adobe Illustrator.
