This project is an overview of a freelance project that I took part of. The client came to me with an idea and a rough concept to target restaurant and bar customers whom spend a few hours in the establishment but need to charge their mobile device. The goal of this project was to develop a solid concept that can eventually be 3D printed into a functional prototype, so tolerances were kept in mind as desired internal components were given. To go with the theme of the bar industry, a beer cap was to be used in the inspiration and ideation. The final product stands as a charging pad that an individual can enjoy at the bar and also take with them to a table. Aside from the bar and restaurant scene, this charging pad would be a great accessory to someone who is considered a beer enthusiast at home or in the workplace.
