The idea of placing the light source at
the base of the lamp comes from the
playfulness of standing an object on
its head. As the concept progressed,
the journey of the light traveling from
the base up to the shade became
more intriguing, so it was emphasized
in the form of a translucent tube.
The struggle to keep the lamp both
playful and professional led to the
use of simple forms: cylinders and
shallow domes.
