After accepting and proudly wearing a family heirloom, an art deco ring from 1930 for almost two years, I finally got married. The romantic that I am chose a soft, lace wedding dress that served as the inspiration for various art direction and design pieces for the wedding. The accent on the back of the dress along with an art nouveau / art deco influence informed an illustrated motif. Extractions from the motif and a repeat pattern formed by the motif were used throughout.
