Case Study - 4 - Design Language System was provided by the client as a brief. The first phase was to refine the DLS and re-interpret it with its application to few product design projects.
Design objectives were set for the family of communication products, keeping in mind the user expectations from the brand and its products.
Case Study - 4 - During ideation, DLS is interpreted through forms, edge treatments, bevels, etc. After narrowing down to 3 aesthetic directions, they were further developed to meet the requirements of internal packaging and ergonomics.
Case Study - 4 - The chosen direction is detailed out further with CMF and engineered body.
As a parallel project, a docking station is also developed as a non-charging deck.
