Third Year Major Project
This was my final year project. I had to choose a derelict/unused building and give it a new lease of life within reason to fit the area in which it is situated. I chose the Abergavenny Cattle Market Abattoir buildings that have stood derelict for many years. Abergavenny, despite being such a small market town is home to a lot of people, therefore I decided to provide a resource centre for the community with a library, study spaces, cafe and computer suite with spaces that adapt to a variety of events such as the Abergavenny Food Festival.
