Tennis Grip Training Aid

There are around 180,000 six to nine Year Olds actively playing tennis on a competitive basis, in addition every schoolchild in this age group must participate in this sport as it is part of their national curriculum.

With this widespread popularity, quite a few players should develop and breakthrough to become a success on the ATP World Tour, such as nations like Switzerland, Spain and the USA.

However this is not the case.

Players in this age group will start to drop out of the sports, for a variety of reasons. One of the most underlying issues are that players often feel that they are lacking progress.

Research has shown that when coaching this age group, controlling the participants grip is the hardest and most time consuming skill-set to teach.

Therefore, I needed to work out an ergonomic solution to allow the participants to habituate to the correct grip quicker.
