3D Alias Modelled Nissan 350Z - ImageStudio - I completed this CAD model as practice after having finished my degree. It took about a week to model, using Alias StudioTools 12, and a further week experimenting with various renders. I used the StudioTools Raytracer renderer initially, and later used Alias ImageStudio, a dedicated rendering program utilising Mental Ray and HDRI.

3D Alias Modelled Nissan 350Z - ImageStudio - This is the same render as the previous image, however I have placed the rendered car in an actual photograph of the same environment in which it was rendered, the Uffizi Gallery, Rome. The High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI) technique renders with lighting and reflections to match the background.
