This is a interactive autobiography site for Ansel Adams constructed in Adobe Flash. Please read through to understand the animations.
Ansel Adams Splash Page Animation - The splash page would start with an animation of his signature like he was signing your screen.
Ansel Adams Splash Page - After the signature animation the rest of the text would fade in and allow the user to click on the enter button to proceed.
Ansel Adams Home Page - The home page here was used to show off his work but also bring it up to date. The clouds in the background would slowly move across the sky and there was nature sounds playing in the background. The navigation buttons were not to disturb the work of ansel adams so they were located at the side and called out by the yellow bar. Two sections of the site were called out in the buttons a biography and his work.
Ansel Adams Animation Example - This is showing an animation shot of once you click the button on the home page the yellow would travel up the side and then spread across the screen .
Ansel Adams Animation Example - Once the yellow bar was at its location the black box would drop down to give the information a resting place and frame.
Ansel Adams Biography Pages - Once the black box was completed, the information would fade in and allow the user to read about the photographer. The yellow color is used to direct the user to where the action buttons will be.
Ansel Adams Archive Section - Here is the other section of the site. This part opens up with six different locations of pictures. When the user hovers over the small pictures they will show text telling the user what location that button will cover.
Ansel Adams Pictures - Once the user picks a location the window would open up and the pictures would appear. The user can click through dozens of pictures from each location. The yellow color again shows the user where the back button is and what location they are viewing.
